Cartier reworked the Santos in 2018 with the QuickSwitch bracelet system, letting a single case move between steel and leather in seconds, and this large model in a sunray blue dial has become one of the house's most requested references. The exposed case screws and squared bezel trace directly back to Louis Cartier's 1904 design for aviator Alberto Santos Dumont, making it one of the earliest wristwatches ever built for a man. This particular piece keeps its original bracelet and an additional blue strap, both fitted and ready to wear, with the full set intact.
